DRMC Business and Career Club

Introduction:

Business plays a vital role in shaping the economy of a country. It is an essential organization that engages in commercial, industrial, or professional activities. A career is also a crucial aspect of our lives, defining our status in society and lifestyle. The DRMC Business and Career Club, a student-governed club of Dhaka Residential Model College, aims to connect students to the world of business and enhance their skills and vision.

Chief Club Coordinator and Moderators:

The DRMC Business and Career Club is led by Md. Nurun Nabi, an Associate Professor, who holds the position of Chief Coordinator of all the 18 clubs of Dhaka Residential Model College. Ahasanul Hague Rinku, a lecturer of Management at Dhaka Residential Model College, serves as the club moderator. Under their leadership, the club has expanded its reach beyond the walls of Dhaka Residential Model College, providing opportunities for students to learn and grow in the field of business.

Objectives:

·        To provide students with opportunities for professional exposure and development;

·        To widen students' vision and enhance their skills in the field of business and career;

·        To connect students with successful entrepreneurs and professionals in their respective fields;

·        To foster leadership skills and promote teamwork among the students.

Activities:

·        Organising workshops, seminars, and guest lectures by successful entrepreneurs and professionals

·        Providing networking opportunities for students to connect with industry experts and fellow students

·        Conducting skill-building activities such as case studies, business simulations, and group projects

·        Participating in inter-school and inter-college business competitions and events

National Festival:

The DRMC Business and Career Club also organises the Annual Business and Career National Festival, where students from different schools and colleges come together to showcase their business and leadership skills. It is an excellent platform for the students to learn from each other and gain exposure to the industry.

The DRMC Business and Career Club has made significant progress since its inception in 2019, and it is a torchbearer for every future leader, entrepreneur, and dreamer of a bright career in the country.
